The "things not buy second-hand post" reminded me of something that happened to me a few years ago. A group of people moved into an apartment near mine in the complex I lived in at the time. Among them was a really weird 19 year old girl. She was odd, but she came over to hang out a few times. One day she came and knocked on my door and asked very nervously if I had "something" she could borrow. I was confused and asked if she could be a bit more specific. It turns out she wanted to borrow a vibrator. I took pity on her and gave her a bullet that came as a free gift with a dildo I had (and that incidentally had never made contact with my vagina). I felt bad because not only was she clearly desperate, but she was so desperate that she had actually come and asked to borrow something like that. Anyhow, a few days later she tried to return it. Needless to say, I told her she could keep it. What's the strangest thing anyone's ever asked to borrow from you? Did you let them borrow it?
