I would give up a child with special needs for adoption.....I know, I'm evil, but that's my confession.

I don't have the patience to raise a child like that. If my son or daughter had been born with a deformity, or mental disease (that was detectable at that young age) I would have given them up. No questions asked.

I would too because that would be a lot of stress for a selfish person. I just pray God knows my heart and bless some one who can handle that.

My little girl's Down syndrome screening came out positive I was 18 weeks and crushed. For the next 24 hr.s I read, cried and accepted. I was more concerned about heart abnormalities more than anything else. I found out a couple of days later that my baby was dead. That was why her screening was out of whack. I would give ANYTHING 2 hold her for even 5 minutes. You never know when presented w/ a challenge what your reaction will be.
