Poll

Question: Both ways are technically acceptable and from what I understand the current appropriate use is without. But it makes more sense, to me, to use it. Do you use the oxford comma?

Options:

no

yes

I don't get it

I never knew there was a such thing as the oxford comma

I overuse commas in general, I think.

I was taught that you don't use a comma before and.  So I guess I was taught pre-oxford.  My daughter uses the comma before and.

I used to use it. Now I don't. I'm trendy with commas ;)

I use it. That is how I was taught. It actually bugs me when I read novels and it is not used.

I was taught in elementary school not to use it, but then in high school to use it and was given examples of why it makes more sense to use it, and it clicked for me to start using it. I always get weird mental images when I see lists without it.
