But you know all Europeans are perfect right? Not a single one is overweight...however, as you pointed out with proof some adjustment needs to be made in the original statement. Getting so sick of the "All Americans are Fat and Lazy" BS...When, oh wait there was an article out a few weeks ago pertaining to an American based company wanting to fire French workers because they only wanted to work 3 days a week for 6 hours a day with two 30min breaks and 90 minutes  for lunch.. AND get paid top wages for all of that.

I love it when women arent afraid to have meat on their bones..Id rather look at Kate Winslet than Amy Whinehouse any day. Dont get me wrong, Amy was a great vocalist..but horses or drag queen comes to mind when you see a pic of her.

Yoo-hoo, chubby Dutch lady...what about this article that says that over half the population of the Netherlands are obese?

Quoting Anonymous:

By the standards of the rest of the world, she was fat. By fat American standards she was thin.  I am in The Netherlands right now and stores don't even have above a European size 10 - which is a US size 6.  You know, vanity sizing because fat americans don't want to know they are fat.

Have you ever considered that maybe people in The Netherlands just have a smaller stature than people who live somewhere else? As an Italian woman I can honestly say that my butt would never fit into a European size 10 and I am not fat at all I just have very wide hips, which is normal for Italian women.

Seriously? And you had respect for anyone else in your original statement? I respect people when they SHOW and GIVE respect..not when the DEMAND it because of their position. Sorry doesnt work that way

The Netherlands is also home to NATO, and the armed forces that work diligently each and every day to protect your freedoms around the world.  The IFTS group has thousands of men and women from ALL NATO countries in Afghanistan working to aid and protect US troops, but the only thing you know about are "child diddlers".  That is sad, but to be expected.

I am sorry you don't have more respect for the men and women who put their lives on the line for you each and every day.

Quoting Anonymous:

Of course, the Netherlands are responsible for a good deal of the child porn that makes its way onto the internet legally because the US can't punish them for putting it up, and they could give a fuck less...so I'd rather be fat than full of child-diddlers :)

Yep. I live in the UK, and hear all the time about "fat Americans"... the UK is facing an obesity crisis but a lot of them turn a blind eye, or better yet blame America for their weight problems. Because, you know, America forced that bacon roll into their mouths lol.

Ive noticed that there is a Anti American bashing thing going on in the UK..I quit talking to a friend of many years over it. I asked him many times why he thought it was alright to bash Americans? Never got a response..Guess its just something to do.

Wow, that is ridiculous. What a stigma....Lol. Sure obesity is a problem here, but it is a rising problem in other countries as well, and they need not blame anyone but theirselves, and by that...I mean on an individual basis. This American was never fat a day in her life until I was diagnosed with a disorder that caused me to be, and this "fat, lazy" American also worked my ass off to lose almost every bit of it. Kiss my lazy, fat American ass if that's how you  clump me. Lol

Let me tell you why that is stupid.

I am overweight. But I have a friend who is 5'9. Weighs 159 and is a size 12. If she loses a pound, she is going to disappear. She is very thin.

LOL I was going to say that i'm 6ft and weigh in at 162lbs and i'm a size 12. My sister is about 5'6" also in a size 12.

Me in a size 12 *and a 12 is actually tight on me*

My much shorter sister in a 12.

When it comes to weight and obesity your clothing size says NOTHING, it's all about height and build.
