My first two are 3 years apart and the second and third are 18 months apart. I personally think further apart is better

My two boys are exactly two years apart and they are the best of friends and my daughter is 6 years older than my 1st son so she is a huge help...

My first two are 2 1/2 yrs apart and it's perfect for us. My younger two will be 1 month short of 2 yrs apart and I wish we had 6 more months in there like the first time but oh well. Baby came along sooner than we anticipated even though he was planned lol.

Its about what you want. My ex mil had 6 kids, all between a year and 18 months apart. My brother and I were 5 years apart and the best of friends

Ds is 4, and I won't be trying for another for awhile

There is no perfect age.

Mine are all 4 years apart (8,4,8 months) and it works for us.

For us, babies 1 and 2 are separated by 4yrs 10 months, babies 2 and 3 are separated by 11months.  With this in mind, I would have to say, I think 2 to 3 yrs might just be the "prime" age distance.

We're trying for number 2. Dd is 3. We waited till right before she turned 2 thinking a little under 3 years difference would be good. Now we're hoping it'll happen soon.
