Because I work my ass off for them. This is why my dd has nice things. Growing up I didn't have nice things. My parents worked hard but just didn't make the money to provide extras. Sooooo. I didn't have them. My dd wouldn't have them if I didn't have a good job.

No, you don't "deserve" them.

You've earned them.

There is a difference.

But I think you have every right to enjoy what you've earned, and owe no defense or explanation.
