Teachers personal lives.

How do you feel about your kids teacher sharing their personal life details with them. Just if they were married or not. If they had kids or not. I know some young kids think you need to be married to have kids and when a teacher tells them she's not married but has kids how would you feel if your kid came home to ask you questions about that?

Ds's teacher talks about her kids and her dog all of the time. I don't see the big deal.

That kind of info I'm OK with.

As long as they aren't sharing their favorite sexual positions with their students.

as long as they don't get too specific with small details of their life i see no problem with it. if ds came home asking questions, i would answer them. they are questions they are going to have one day any way, so what's the bg deal? but generic if they are married/have kids etc...no would not bother me in the least.

It wouldn't bother me, and I'd answer the questions as best as I could.

It's a reality in this world, why try to hide or sugarcoat it...not everyone is married when they have a child (nor do I think they should have to be).

Lol this.

So long as it is school appropriate, share away.

I think that it helps them bond with the kids in their classrooms. Young kids are going ask too and that is okay.

I wouldn't have any issue if my kids knew their teacher had kids but not a husband. Plenty of our friends are divorced, not a big deal.
