Your child who is 9 years old walk herself and her younger brother, who is 7, to school? Alone?
The school is a 15 minute walk away and you have to cross 4 busy street corners.

I probably would.

Then again, I let my kids walk to the bus stop at 6 by themselves (across the street and down 4 houses, not visible from our house since we live in the Pacific Northwest, lol).

Nope. My sons are 9, and they are less than 2 miles from the school so they didn't have busing. I would not let them walk. One has SN, and the other just isn't mature enough honestly. We have rode bikes to their school together (they used their scooters), but I would not let them go alone.
