Can someone please tell me what it means when a bank check is flipped? I asked my hubby but he did not answer my question cuz he was in a really pist off mood already.

Its our rent check and my hubby said it got flipped. I never heard of that term either and thats why i askec him what he ment by "flipped" but he was too upset to answer my question.

I have only heard of Flip the Check. Never Flipping a Check. Can you provide contect in which the term was used?

Hmm almost sounds more like it bounced  than flipped??  Could be wrong though.

But he could be using the wrong word and meaning "bounced"?

He probably meant that it bounced; as in there wasn't enough money in the account to cover the check and now you owe more money
