Don't put your marriage on the back burner for the sake of raising your kids. One of the greatest gifts you can give your children is the security that comes from seeing their parents committed to each other in a strong and loving marriage.

or a strong relationship.

some parents cant get married.

because the bible says its wrong.

and some just dont want to get married.

 unfortunately it's so easy to let this happen :( dh and i struggle sometimes, remembering to take time for us.

that's true it's hard when parents are at odds with each other.

I must be super cool, bc I don't have to pick just one to maintain.

Dh and I are also both grown ups who highly value being involved in raising our kids together as a team. We often prefer "family time" to "couple" time.

I did and it led to the destruction of our marriage and now we're divorcing.

I agree in our situation, but some people aren't allowed the right of marriage.

My husband and my relationship comes first. We were together before kids and we will be together after the kids move out!
