Is 35 too old for women to start boxing?

If I'm going to stay deaf, I plan to take up boxing & see how far I can go with that. What do you all think of a 35 year old female that is deaf in boxing? I figure this would be the best outlet for me to deal with being deaf for life.

I think you will have some real tough times ahead of you, but I don't think 35 is too old. You will box by weight class and skill level.

Since when has 35 been too old to do anything?

...also, deaf has nothing to do with it.

stop defining yourself by that, seriously, and i say that because like every post of yours mentions it, and i don't understand why.  it doesn't define who you are, anymore than my bunions or bad vision define me.  a 35 year old deaf woman boxing is no different than a 35 year old hearing woman boxing.  just do what you want.

you don't need to hear to box.
