I don't normally vent on this site but when did it become appropriate to bring your dog everywhere?

Restaurants...not appropriate    Clothing stores...not appropriate

Grocery stores...not appropriate

Dr's Offices....not appropriate

Seriously!  i hate when people think because they are carrying their tiny little dogs it's appropriate to bring them everywhere!  Last time I checked a dog is still a dog, leave it at home or in your damn car!!!!  ok, vent over!

Last time I checked, many people consider pets as family members. Do you leave your dog in the car when it's summertime?

I agree with you. And I have many pets.

Service dogs are one thing, they're working.

Pets - that's just dumb. It's usually the people that treat their poor dogs like children.

Leave your dog at home in the summer. I agree that its not appropriate to have animals with you all the time.

I never saw that until I lived in California. I found it odd. Some shops even had little areas set up for them with water & treats. Now i'm back in Indiana & don't see it anymore.

I would tell the manager why I was leaving and walk out and never return if I seen a dog that wasn't a medical dog in a restuarant or grocery store.

I haven't witnessed this problem nor do I have pets I take out in public.

I love when people bring their animals in to where I work. But it's a small community bank.

Why isn't it appropriate?
