Super scary that I became allergic to mentholatum. I always used it growing up for chest congestion. Anyways, I received my bill today. OUTRAGEOUS! My IV cost 129.00; My lab work was 843.50; Going to the ER 1,368.75; and using the pharmacy was 57.25; The complete cost was 2,399.00 for being at the hospital for 1.5 hours. I went to the ER without insurance so they gave a courtesy discount of 1,559.35. I already paid 250.00 just so they would see me. So I do only owe 589.65. Still a little bit of a sticker shock but holy moses.

I can out do that. A single shot needed 24 hours post chemotherapy to boost my white blood cells cost $15,716.35...just 1 shot...
