I saw someone shoplift

And I didn't say anything. My anxiety kicked in really bad at the mall. I didn't watch him grab anything but I seem a lump in his shirt and him run out of the store. I have to say something but I couldn't walk up to the employee because my anxiety was sky high. Should I try to call the store and tell them? Or let it go?

Well by now you should just let it go. Nothing they can do about it.

What would you expect them to be able to do about it with no evidence?

I had my son in my arms. It's not like I could have chased him. He had his hood up too. I feel guilty though.

Let it go unless you are prepared to give a statement to the police.

I'd let it go.  I hope your anxiety goes down.

Ohh, I am not knocking you. I totally understand when anxiety freezes you up. But there is nothing to do now.

I'm sure they have cameras. But since all I seen was a guy running out of the store, I wouldn't have been too much help.

Well it's too late now, it's not like they can go after him at this point. However, you shouldn't feel bad, you are not the store security
