So just a quick question to all you CM doctors. Why is circumcision considered invasive as an adult but not as a baby?

Aren't they both just as painful? Just a baby doesnt get pain relief. So wouldn't that be the more invasive one?

I'm from the UK so we don't even do RIC over here

Lol. That's what people think. The reality is that only about 4% of infants get proper anesthesia for circhmcision

That makes absolutely no sense. The size of a penis has nothing to do with how much pain is involved when a chunk is cut off.

That still doesn't make sense. Because as an adult the foreskin has generally already retracted from the head of the penis. A babies hasn't.
I've also read differing opinions on adequacy of pain relief a baby recieves.

Most are misinformed, choose to be ignorant, or don't care because they don't have to feel it!

Im guessing because adults use them more and have a lower pain tolerance.

What makes you think a baby has high pain tolerance? Havent they never felt pain before so wouldnt it be more painful and have a low pain tolerance
