I always said the same thing lol!!! Now I have a 16 year old on vArsity cheer !
I couldn't hold her back from something she wanted to do because I didn't like it!!!!

My initial reaction is always gag..
but I do see the great things about Cheerleading, I'd let my daughters join if they wanted. However, It's not something I'd push them into..

There is no way to be a perfect mother, and a million ways to be a good one.

To each their own...I'm sad that my daughter can't cheer until her shoulder heals. It can be dangerous, especially if the kid is a klutz lol. She is her father's daughter :) To clarify, I'm not sad for me. I'm sad for her because she loves it and she's missed the entire winter competitive season and has to do PT twice a week and hates it. :(
