Why does dst affect people after Sunday?

Posted by Anonymous   + Show Post
On my fb feed there are several people complaining about the time change affecting them today, Monday. I guess I don't see why...?

Because they're heathens and don't go to church on Sunday like the rest of us Godfearing folk.  ;)

It affected me because essentially I was getting up at 3:50 am even though the clock said 4:50 am. That sucked.

Ugh.  You have to get up way too early, dollface. :(

I'm tired as hell. Just because your clock says its 6 am doesn't mean your body doesn't insist its 5 am and make you grumpy.

Do you not work? Or not have any small kids at home or big kids who need to get to school? How are you on Monday morning and not confused? Or did you take a handful of Tylenol PM last night and went to bed at 6 pm?

Because people don't do anything on Sunday so they may not even realize the time change.  Then they have to wake up an hour early for work/school/etc and it's like "goddamnit I lost an hour".  Sucks man.

It's only been a day. It takes a couple of days to adjust. For me anyway.

Are you really that uneducated?  Holy shit, go read a book and learn about all these amazing things in the world that have obviously escaped you.

Friggen scary.

I hate this shit. It messes with my sons routine so bad. Now he wants to be in bed by seven and get up at 5 am.

It messes with people's circadian rhythm, similar to "jet lag".
