S/O Whats the point in tipping?

They're already getting paid for doing the work, so why do you feel its necessary to tip people? I think it's greed on their part, and I don't think it's right

Greed turned into entitlement turned into resturaunts taking advantage and paying very low wages because they get tips now it's just part of the system

I tip for good services like hair stylists, waitresses, and delivery. They deserve the extra if they do a good job or are on time IMO.

He'll even I could look at Christmas and end of year gifts from students as kind of a tip for me. : P

because I get paid 2 dollars an hour because it is expected that patrons will tip. Knowing this and you do and not tipping makes you the greedy person and not I.

Yeah that $2.15 an hour is getting paid for doing their job.

Server minimum wage in Missouri is $3.53 an hour. Yes it's a wage, but definitely not one to live off.

You tip because their salary is typically less than minimum wage.  You can also tip if someone did a great job.  It's a nice thing to do.  I guess some people aren't so nice.

I tip if I recieve good service. It lets the person who 'served' you know they did a good job! When I get CRAPPY service, I do not tip.
