Question: When did/do you plan on switching your child to a forward facing car seat?

Read this in another post and it's the first time I've ever seen this term used. What exactly do you think is EXTENDED Rear Facing?
My Poll is a different question:

Other: until the child reaches the limit of the carseat. For my Britax roundabout 55 that's like 40 pounds and 46 inches.

To the limits of the seat... I thought it was more weight than age (2 years still minimum).

I chose 2-3 yrs. I switched DS at 2 because he maxed the weight limit. DD is 18 months and no where near the weight/height limits. Heck she still doesn't pass the legal minimum! I plan to max out the seat before turning her. Safety first.

My DD is 21 months and will be rear facing until she's at LEAST 2 years old. I know so many people who have switched their child to forward facing between 9-12 months and I just don't understand it. =[
