alright birches, tell me what to make for dinner

Posted by   + Show Post
I have :

2 small potatoes

1/2 a sweet potato

garlic

onions

marinara

pasta

Rice

canned chicken

canned corn and assorted canned veggies

Margarine

cream of celery soup

What can I make. I also have staples, seasonings, flour, etc

Ok so I sauteed the potatoes diced small with half an onion and some garlic. I added the chicken and the can of celery soup with some flax milk to thin it out. Oh yeah and some grated parmesan.. I added in a can of mixed veggies and I'm making some linguine to serve it over. It does really taste like a pot pie filling and I bet it'll be great on the pasta.

Avocado spread on toast? U gotta broaden your horizons and not be so picky;) choose healthier options:)

Quoting waffa:

Not saying me, but what about those allergic to peanuts or hate sweets like honey/jelly/syrup?

I likes me some mass butter/margarine on my toast and pancakes (not very fond of syrup, so butter only on pancakes here)

Quoting shajdinyak:

Put peanut butter, honey, jelly or maple syrup on

Those. All natural of course. No need for the others.

Quoting waffa:

While I love olive oil it is limited on its uses; if cooking on high heat in a pan it is acually bad for you (something I saw on Dr. Oz that if OO is overheated it is a bad thing) and would you really put it on toast or pancakes?

Quoting shajdinyak:

Don't use either! Use olive oil:)

Quoting Anonymous:

You can leave butter on the counter, spreads just fine.

Quoting AnnieMcD:

Lots of things are awful for you. I also drink pepsi, monsters, and liquor on occasion. Might be bad for me but it tastes great. And it actually spreads instead of tearing whatever I'm trying to.put it on into pieces ...

sadly it seems it cannot be used in pie crusts.

Quoting AnnieMcD:

We like it. I don't care for real butter.

Quoting Anonymous:

Who buys margarine.... Well apparently you do. I would start by putting that in the trash.

Just potates that are mashed with no butter or milk. Flour and one or two eggs. To make a dough. Roll small balls flat (curled) on a fork. Boil in water. Take out when they float to the top

Quoting AnnieMcD:

I have eggs. Forgot to pit those. How do I make gnocchi?

Quoting Mama_Dolly:

if you can get an egg or two you can make gnocchi

I've never had flax milk. Is it good?
