I am getting 12 shots of botox in each armpit

Posted by Anonymous   + Show Post

On Monday I will be going in and getting 10-12 stabs of botox in each armpit to treat excessive sweating.

I am nervous.

They charge by units, usually $ 10-$15 per unit and then you have to find out how many units it takes for that area of the body. Like "Crows Feet" are 18-36 units per side. My treatments are around $5000 but insurance covers because it is a medical need. That's about all I know. Oh, and the units are the amount of Botox in the needle.

If you had balls, I bet you wouldn't care so much about a couple wrinkles or some sweat! :)

I would be leary about getting TOO much injected, but I see nothing wrong with what you are doing. I have heard some great results from friends and family. I will be looking into injections in the future for my forehead, but my wrinkles don't bother me too much yet. I'm all for some regulated maintenance. My cousin has done it a few times, and she said it stings of course, but it wasn't bad enough that she didn't go back!

My husband had it done on his feet. It really works well.

I have heard about that. It supposedly works quite well. But you have to redo it every so often.
