Relax. You're not even sure it's cancer. My grandmother had a lump in her breast and it wasn't malignant.
Where is it on your breast? (Is it directly under the nipple or elsewhere?) Does it move when you touch it, or is it stationary? Just because there's a lump doesn't mean that it is cancer, but it's important to get it checked out.
I remember when my MIL was diagnosed with breast cancer her doc told her the large lumps that appear suddenly are usually cysts. Especially if they are painful. My thoughts and prayers( if you're into to that kind of thing), are with you.

I had several lumps in mine and they were just cysts - no cancer.
Is it a cyst. I have a cyst and its big.
I had a lump in my breast in my twenties. Biopsy showed no cancer, think positive. Breast cancer doesn't mean a death sentence either.
