...between prostitution and making pornography? In both cases, people are getting paid to have sex with other people. Is it because both parties are being paid?

The difference is money. The gov has no way of making money off prostitution therefore it is illegal.

That makes sense, tax wise. They should just legalize prostitution! If they legalized that and marijuana, I bet we'll be a lot closer to being out of debt...

Yes, they do. It's legal in at least that part of Nevada.
