Motivation to do anything EVER! Clean, cook, exercise, run errands, etc. despite being on cymbalta for 3 years now. I feel a lot more emotionally stable now but I seriously can not ever muster up any motivation.

If you move and start cleaning it will actually give you more energy to get up and do more things. you just have to force yourself to get up

this. I never have motivation but I know it has to be done. Once I get going, I wont stop until the whole house has been cleaned.

I only recently got any motivation. For me it came once I started thyroid medication. Maybe ask your doc to check yours. Low thyroid can contribute to depression.

My lack of motivation is due to the fact that I work 45 hours a week at a mentally draining job. Don't get me wrong I love what I do its just very taxing. I do what needs to be done at home anyway but it's out of sheer force of will.
