Is this rape? Small edit...

A guy friend of mine got really drunk at a party, when he woke up the next morning people were talking about how some "friends" were joking and stripped him down. One of them even stuck their fingers in his ass. I said he needs to go report it, that its rape. He is humiliated, and thinks maybe its his own fault for getting so drunk. What do you think?

Edit, he is bi. Some ladies have asked if this is something he would consent to sober, so, to answer, he might

Yes, I think he should report it.

I'm sorry that happened to him.

That fits the legal definition of rape.

Being drunk or passed out is NOT a green light for anything, so yes its rape.. Since when does this culture once again blame people for being drunk?

Absolutely but very unfortunately men often don't report sexual abuse. :(

that is rape. He could report it, but it's unlikely he would. Guys are weird about reporting things like that. :(

Absolutely.  If he were sober would he have let it happen?  Probably not.

What happened to common decency? It doesn't surprise me that there are rapists and criminals, but these attacks are happening in front of people. Why does no one intervene?

If he had been a girl, it  would not have been a question.  Yes, it is rape.
