I'm expecting my first and am totally open to the possibility that we might choose to be one and done. But I am curious after just reading a similar post, if you only had one and done, or are PLANNING to only have one, why?

We are starting with this one and will see how we feel after that. I would be fine with one but I have to say I love my brother dearly. I couldn't imagine what life would be like without a sibling. But I also know had I been an only child I would be fine right now too. I think you should do what is best for your family to be happy and healthy

Is there a reason you didn't have another one sooner so you wouldn't have had to totally start over? Or did you always just want one?

We are one and done because ds has high medical and special needs. Also it would be completely unsafe for me to become pregnant again.

I thought that, then the baby bug bit me and I am ttc #2 . Ds is lonely and needs a brother lol

We didn't want any and then we ended up with one. Lol. Pregnancy was horrible and I hated it and my husband hated to see me so upset and miserable so he agreed with me to one and done as well. Lol.
