I'm Thinking About Taking Naps Away

My ds is 18 months old and takes 1 nap a day that lasts about 2 hrs. He wakes up in the morning at 5:30/6 am. I'm so sick of getting woken up that fucking early.

Yea, I doubt that will change by taking away his nap. My son is 18 months and nap or no nap is up by 7.

Hah taking the nap away wont make them sleep longer at all. At that age most still need the nap and taking it away is almost asking for issues in the evening because they tend to get very cranky and whiny when they are overtired. Good luck

chances are, at this age, it won't help.  in fact, your problems may get much, much worse.

but, you're the mom... have at it.
