So now the kids can't use the word 'substitute teacher' now??

 They have to use the word 'guest' teacher? DD said she had a different teacher, I said "oh, you had a sub" and she said they were not allowed to say that anymore. Anyone know why not?

I doubt its not allowed. Likely thats the "new phrasing" being used. Dumb

Weird, no idea, and I was a sub. I was never referred to as a "guest teacher".

Idk my DD told me yesterday they had a sub, i never heard her say guest teacher...

My daughter still says sub. I've never heard of guest teacher

They call them subs in my son's class. I am sure she wasn't told they weren't "allowed" to, probably that the school uses the term "guest". It's just semantics. Move on with your life.

I am a sub and they still call me that, lol.  I did have one teacher call me a "guest" teacher and I have to admit, I did like it.
