Would you allow your child to receive the anthrax vaccine?

Theres also a black plague vaccine. The plague isnt around anymore, but we should add the vaccine to the schedule to protect in case it does come back widespread

Nope..it has not been tested for its affect on children.

Yeah, they want to start testing it on children.

So far it's only given to those who go to countries where they are at risk(military)

I've never heard of that either. I only vaccinate based on extensive research on each one reccommended.

It is really painful. Your whole arm burns for about half a day. I can't imagine doing that to a child :-(

I'd have to do a ton of research before I'd be able to decide whether I'd do it or not.

I would have to research this one...

At this very moment it doesn't seem very necessary though.

If he were joining the military, or if we were in an active war zone yes.  My husband received it when he was in the Navy and had no adverse reaction.
