My husband is Mexican. We live on the boarder almost, between arizona and mexico. in tuscan.

i tell him to keep his wallet with him. he was born in the US.

But this is a racist state. with a racist sheriff and racist cops.

I worry every time he goes to work that he will be stopped and then arrested for not proving his citizenship.

Its not fair!

Its not legal!

I dont agree with it.

Profiling is WRONG

But they still do it!!!!

I dont know how to get him to understand that he needs to have his wallet even if he is 'just going to work'

My uncle said when this first started if it ever happens in NY he would gladly show his papers. What's the big deal. If he is a citizen what's the bug deal?

I'm a tattooed,pagan,pro-choice,pro-legalizing marijuana,pro-gay marriage,anti-war,non-vaxing,tree hugging, animal loving, book reading, animal testing free, depression battling, trying to raise a free spirit and letting her be who she is but still teaching her important life lessons, fighting for equal rights at the same time, don't like it get over it.

If he was born in the US , he's not truly Mexican. He is of Mexican descent, but he is American.

You don't even legally have to have an ID card. You need to have your license on you to drive, maybe that's where you're getting confused.

If he was born here the proof would be his birth certificate. Who carries that with them?
