My husband is Mexican. We live on the boarder almost, between arizona and mexico. in tuscan.
i tell him to keep his wallet with him. he was born in the US.
But this is a racist state. with a racist sheriff and racist cops.
I worry every time he goes to work that he will be stopped and then arrested for not proving his citizenship.
Its not fair!
Its not legal!
I dont agree with it.
Profiling is WRONG
But they still do it!!!!
I dont know how to get him to understand that he needs to have his wallet even if he is 'just going to work'
My uncle said when this first started if it ever happens in NY he would gladly show his papers. What's the big deal. If he is a citizen what's the bug deal?

Ummm even if he wasn't Mexican, the law is if you are over 18 you must carry your id on you at all times
