So, I am watching Wife Swap. One of the rules is a kid has to tell all adults sir and ma'am. Does anyone else make their children regard adults this way? Just you and dad or any adults?

Yes....absolutely. All adults deserve that respect.

When I worked as a in home nanny I had the kids calling all adults sir or ma'am. And when I was working at the daycare it was miss so and so or Mr so and so. I think its respectful.

I don't tell my kids to, but I address my seniors as "sir" and "ma'am" out of respect so my guess is they will pick up on that.

No I do not require that. I thought it was a Southern thing. I hated being forced to call my mothers horrible ex Mister J. He was horrid to us. Dd does address people by Mr./Mrs/Ms if its a teacher or sitter. My daughter often says yes ma'am to me and i dunno where she got it.
