UPDATE: 3/24/13
He is still in the hospital, he is still the same. Can't see out of his left eye and walks with a limp (his left foot is numb).
He says he needs to hurry up and get out so that he can start his new job. he was just hired to do yard work (mowing grass, shoveling sidewalks and drive ways). Why are men so damn hard headed, what does he honestly think he can do RIGHT after a stroke? He can't see, can't stand for long periods of time, can barely walk but he thinks he is going to work a hard manual labor job!! SMDH!!!!!!!!!
My boyfriend and the father of my kids had a stroke yesterday afternoon. The hospital is running tests, it appears to have affected his left side with the only problems he's experienced so far are distorted vision on left side and his left leg feels numb, which is causing him to limp.
He had a MRI and he was told that there is something on his brain that is about the size of a baseball. Please pray that he makes a full recovery and that they are able to prevent a more serious issue. I am so scared we are going to loose him, we have lost so much in the 18 years we have been together and I don't know if I could handle loosing him right now!
First, YES HE WILL BE IN MY PRAYERS & YOUR FAMILY ALSO.
1. I know you have alot on you mind, BUT get a copy of all medical entries.
You will need these, if you need to file for S.S.D. for him.
2. Are you children grown ?
Please contact me for more help.........

We were separated for a while and getting back together, so he wasn't even around when it happened. He called while at the hospital. But he will be coming home (here) when he is released.

Im so sorry. I will keep him in my prayers. What's showing on the MRI is probably the injured area. Was it an ischemic or hemorrhagic stroke?
