What does my fridge/freezer say about me?**EDITED**
ETA: Homemade pulled pork is in the crock pot. The containers in the bottom of the fridge hold mushrooms, fresh green beans, there is celery, strawberries and blueberries and a bag of grapes. We also have Cuties, apples and grapefruit. The pop is mine, hubbys and my moms, the kids get water or milk only.
Here is my response to the processed crap: On the contrary, I know it seems that way, but behind the bagged items in the freezer is a ton of meats and in the drawers and containers in my fridge are veggies and fruits. I love to cook from scratch and do very often, BUT I have one child with Sensory Processing Disorder that affects his eating. We struggled to get him to gain weight for years. Right now, with the help of a therapist, we are trying new foods, but all he really eats are processed chicken products, tater tots, tuna and sometimes meatloaf. I need him to eat, because he wont just eat when he gets hungry, he will starve himself and too many times we end up in the hospital with him being tube fed. He is 13, but the mentality of a 6/7 yr old. He eats almost every night a different meal than us. We are hoping to introduce some new foods to him soon. He does gag if he tastes or smells new foods, its a lot of work.
I also moved the meat to the bottom shelf and bagged it.
Bored, so decided to do this post after seeing the other one.
In the drawers are carrots, cheese, yogurt, string cheese and hot dogs.
