Can you share the pros and cons of this program? Thanks!

It works for our family.
They are a Christian based program, so if you are not Christian, you may not like it.

they used it at my kids charter school, I wasnt impressed as neither of them could read when we left the school

Yes, I am Christian, and that part is appealing. However, I am wondering if it is a GREAT curriculum or only a mediocre curriculum, as far as advanced classes go? (Physics/Calculus?)

It really pushes the kids in math, which is good
I am not sure how far it goes(we are doing 2nd and 4th grade right now)

I do it and am very impressed with it. My son is in first grade and is reading amazingly and adds, subtracts, can carry, do fractions, etc.
For the person that said that they are in a charter school. If your kid cant read, that is a teacher failure.

There's apparently a video version of Abeka, and I watched a sample video segment of a Calculus class. Other than the teacher being straight out of the 1980s, he taught it exceedingly well.

I plan to start the video school for my kids in 8th grade
