Lead and read rhyme but lead and read also rhyme.

That being said, lead and read do not rhyme nor do lead and read.


Shout out to the English language.

Ugh... ikr?   I had to explain that even though the word "you" makes the same sound as the LETTER "u" it is SPELLED "Y-O-U". 

My 5yo is so confused right now.
