My husband is currently deployed. He disclosed to me today that a girl from his battalion asked if he wanted to sleep with her. He didn't tell me exactly how the conversation, but he told he he declined her offer.

I'm upset, because this happened several weeks ago and he's just now telling me :(. I just feel like he should have told me when it happened, KWIM?

was it possible for him to tell you right then?

i wouldn't care when i was told so long as he was the one that told me.

The fact that he told you says a lot about his character, IMO.

Maybe he needed time to think of the words of how to tell you.

Why not be happy you have a man who would tell you that? Many would take full advantage of being thousands of miles away and live it up.

Maybe he needed to work up to telling you.

Also, he is deployed, maybe he's had other things on his mind.

Let's hope it's that and he's an upstanding guy. My first thought was he is only telling her now bc he's covering his tracks in advance. Like something DID happen and now there are issues or someone else knows and he is worried about it getting back to her...

He told you! That says a lot. Since he is deployed it makes it harder, he could have been afraid of upsetting you.
