I don't care if it's an interview for McDonalds, a Gas Station or a Healthcare position etc.

PLEASE look professional. I'm not asking a dress suit, but I interviewed someone Today who came in, in Yoga pants, a Tube top and Flip-Flops with her hair in a bun. I understand some people not being able to dress up in a dress, high heels etc But seriously? If you walk in looking like a bum, or you just rolled out of bed, you will not get the job. At least NOT from me. Sorry, rant over.

That is pretty unprofessional. I thought it was common knowledge to wear something at least more formal than your everyday wear. Nothing torn or stained, and neat hair.

Before asked, it WAS for a "cashier" job. Dh an I just bought a small, very small (3 store) Gas Station Chain. But when you can even throw on "casual-dress" clothes, even dark wash jeans, nice top, definitely NOT flip flops. You won't be called back.

I agree! I used to interview people when I managed Dunkin Donuts, seriously the people that came in.. I don't want nasty ass people who haven't showered in a month and five days to be serving food. If you can't manage to at least put decent clothes on and smell decent, get out.

Wow I can't believe someone would even think that it's ok to wear that to an interview! I was handed a résumé once with a coffee ring at the top of the paper lol
