Generally, its the same thing. I think planning a divorce would be easier to come back from though. I don't know if i would stay in the marriage through either of them.
That's about what I was thinking. They're both pretty bad. What's worse is if he was cheating on you AND planning a divorce. A few years ago I caught my husband planning on cheating and planning a divorce. Long story but we're in therapy.

Wow. Everyone's saying cheating. I found my husband planning, really planning on screwing me over in a divorce. Trying to figure out how to set himself up best to get custody. This was about seven months ago, and we just had our first good days, where that feeling of mistrust momentarily left the forefront of my consciousness. And that's with him falling down, crying, apologizing, giving me all his passwords and begging me to give him another chance.
