I was literally humming the song in Pet Semetary as I opened this. And that would have been my answer. Weird. It's also the best horror movie, IMO, and I'm a huge horror fan.

Exorcist or the Entity are close seconds.

The trailer looks REALLY good! I'm going to watch it by myself when it comes out, my dh isn't into horror.

Honestly, the scariest movie I've ever seen was "The Shining." I saw it in theaters when it first came out over 30 years ago, and I STILL can't watch it at night! Jack Nicolson just creeps me out everytime.

Yeah, can't say that I blame you about The Human Centipede.  I made the mistake of reading the Wikipedia synopsis when I saw the movie suggested on Netflix.  I will never watch that.  After just reading some of the plot details, I couldn't eat the rest of the day.

Definitely.  I much prefer that kind of horror.  Just about any movie based on a Stephen King novel is worth watching.
