I was told I was now straight since I'm married to a man. Do people not understand how sexuality works?

What do you think?

just because you chose one sex to have a commited relationship with does not make your attraction to women go away.  so yes, you can still be bi and married to a man.  sometimes the parties in the relationship agree to outside encounters to satisfy that need, sometimes the parties agree when they get married to forsake all others, and the bisexual partner sets that part of themselves aside (though porn and masturbation is an excellent way to help with that).

If you are sexually/physically and emotionally attracted to women, regardless of your marital status IMO you are bisexual.

Are you kidding me. This is the stupidest question I have ever seen. Do people seriously think that if you are bi then you are a slut. My hubby is bi but that has never changed his commitment to me as a women. If anything it opens up interesting opportunities in our sex life. To be so naive that you could possibly ask this question makes me feel sorry that you have such a shaded view of the world. At the end of the day feelings are feelings no matter your sexual preference.

Um, gay people used to commonly marry the opposite sex. It didn't make them less gay! That's crazy. Marriage doesn't change who you are.

I would say yes... sexual orientation and level of commitment in a relationship are not the same thing.

Oh, you are still bisexual if you are married. Just like you are still gay if you are married. Just like you are still a lesbian if you are married.
