iPhone problems

Argh

So I took the phone to the apple store and the guy said the battery wasn't the problem that it was an update and that when I got home and had all of my pics downloaded to restore it to factory settings and then treat it like a new phone, don't just restore it.

I did all of that and the damn phone is still giving me problems.

Any other suggestions?

---EDIT----

Sorry guys, I wasn't clearer as to what the problem was because I'm so darn frustrated with it.

The battery is dying way too quickly. Just in the time it took me to answer what 3 responses and update this the battery has gone down by 5 percent.

When I was in Sweden the phone didn't work at all, this is an iPhone 4 on Verizon so it's not a world phone. I couldn't leave it turned on and on airplane mode because in less than a day it would completely die on me

I did factory restore which I was told should've fixed it. Before that I was told to restore the network settings, which I did and to delete and reinstall my mail accounts. I've also doubled clicked the home button and deleted all running apps and nothing seems to help.

What is your phone doing?

My speakers went out on my phone, can't listen to Pandora or watch videos anymore.

What version of the phone do you have (ie. iPhone 4, 4s, or 5)?
What update did you update to when you received the problem?
What exactly is happening that might help others in helping you troubleshoot your problem?
Did you go to the Apple site's forum section?  Usually you will find others that may have experienced the same problem as you and what things they tried to solve the problem.

Sorry I wasn't clearer in the op, I'm frustrated.

The battery is losing juice super quickly. Like 20% in 20 minutes.

Sorry I should've been clearer I'm just beyond aggravated.

The battery dies way too quickly, like 20% in 20 minutes.

I restored to factory settings but before that I went online and did what all they said to do which was:

Delete and reinstall email accounts.

Reset network settings.

Double clicked home and deleted all apps that were running.

Deleted all apps period that I didn't need.

I noticed the problem started when updated a few months back but it seems to just be getting worse, l took it to the apple store and he is the one that told me to restore it to factory settings and that the battery is performing just like it should be.
