This can't be true...? She's got to be nuts!

My friend was telling me that as long as baby is popping "tar" (NB poop lol) they don't need to feed...? And that the umbilical cord needs to stay on a minimum of 2-3 hours after birth to get all the nutrients. And also that if baby goes the first 2 days without eating mothers milk it's fine.?!?

Please tell me she's nuts. Especially the first and last?!

Well, I wouldn't be testing that theory out. Is she a mother?

wait... they don't need to eat at all for the first 2 days? And they don't need to be fed as long as they're pooping "tar"? Sounds weird. Although My nephew slept for the first 24 hours he was alive. I think it take a bit for the hunger feeling to kick in... but you should still feed your baby...

She's NUTS. I I've breast fed and trust me you baby needs to eat within the first 2-3 hours of being born unless otherwise told not to do so. The I
Umbilical cord being cut isn't going to stop the nutrients.

There's no way that's okay. Not feeding your child for days at a time?
