How can I tell if this is normal?

So I think my 2 year old may have a issue with his hearing.

I made him an appointment for next week to get checked.

But I don't know if he REALLY has an issue or if it is just normal 2 year old behavior...

How can I tell?

you wait it out until the experts test and give you the results.

Just wait and see what they say after his appointment. There isn't really much else you can do to be sure.

What is he doing?  My 20 month old was having issues with his and we knew it cause he wasn't speaking words.  He was trying but they were coming out just sounds.  He has fluid behind his ear drums.  BAD.  We knew it though cause he was having back to back ear infections.  Got him to the ENT and he had to have tubes cause the fluid was there 4 months and was so bad his ear drums weren't moving.  Since he got the tubes he has went from 3 words and a bunch of sounds to about 20 + words.

You have to get the test done to know for sure
