I lie to my dd all the time

Well not all the time but sometimes. She is 2 1/2 and loves my phone and tablet. I let her play with them but then she starts to scream and cry when I won't do something on the phone or tablet for her. It has gotten to the point where I tell her its broken. Even though its really not. That's when she calms down and says broken mommy. I say yes and she goes and plays with her toys.

She doesn't like me to touch my phone or tablet when she has it. So I cannot turn on another game for her.

I guess that' easier than teaching your child of the meaning of the word "no" and actually parenting her!

Sometimes DS just won't take no for an answer, and we're somewhere where I really don't want him throwing a fit, so I tell him the same thing.

Probably shouldn't have left her play with them in the first place though?

My son has a nabi. When he starts screaming or crying I just say no. He knows when his time is up.

I do think it's cute when he relizes it is dead though cause he goes "oh no mommy get the charger, get the charger. It's DEAD!" lol
