Hair question! How much does ombre cost?

Right now my hair is a few inches from hip length and has a V-Hem line. I’ve been trimming it myself for almost 2 years. I was thinking about cutting off a few inches and doing a red (my natural color) to blonde ombre type thing. I’m kind of scared because I have never dyed my hair and every time I get it cut somewhere it ends up shorter than I wanted it to be…

This is what I want -

About how much will dyeing my hair cost? It’s basically just the ends that will be dyed and part of the length. Any estimate will be better than my guess.

85- 130 maybe more. Not including tip.

Are you aware that red fades fast and you will have to get it redone pretty often?

Depends totally on the salon but I have dark blonde (my natural) to lighter blonde ombre and it was charged as a double process (two colors- for the fading effect) look up salons in your area and view their prices.

She's a redhead already. The blonde will be the color she has to maintain.

It depends where you go.I'd imagine it could get pretty costly considering how long your hair is and ombre is a special technique. Call around for estimates in your area.

Huum… That makes since. I was hoping it would be cheaper because they don’t have to use as much dye. lol How much did you pay? Just want a ball park.

I think it's funny the "you need to color your regrowth" look of the 80's now is an intentional style.

Everything cycles! Lol I like the subtle fade tho. Regrowth is more like a dip dye, which is also popular now.
