Calling all CM doctors!!!!

For the past 2 years I've been having absolutely awful sinus issues. I KNOW I need to go see an ENT, I've just kept putting it off. Today I woke up and felt like I had yet another sinus infection coming on, it hurt so I started rubbing the area around my nose and felt somthing. Right kind of under and to the outside of my left nostril is what feels like a marble. Nothing like it on the other side. And this is the side of my face that's giving me trouble, irritated eye, pain in my face, and a sore throat on that side. Normally I don't go to the doctor for sinus infections, I'd rather ride it out than take the antibiotics as often as I get these, but this growth I'm feeling is making me nervous! What could it be?!? Would you go in if you felt this???

Not sure if there are glands there. Sometimes when an infection is bad the glands around the area will get inflamed. I think you should see an ent. Dh suffered with sinus forever. Finally he went. They did a quick procedure ( outpatient) and he hasn't had an issue at all.

It could be a polyp in your sinus.

I am not a doctor, I generally avoid doctors...and I would go.  The bump would freak me out.

In the meantime I would do warm compresses to the area, vit. c and garlic.  I may use a neti pot or steam to try and keep everything flowing

Did he have polyps? I'm thinking thats maybe what this is. It does feel like swollen glands, but there are no lymph glands there, but there are sinus cavities.
