My SIL (DH's sister) has asked me to watch her kids during the summer while she is at work. She has a 5 and 8 year old. I get the impression that she wants me to do it for free, which is not happening. I am a stay at home mom to my 10, 7 and 4 year olds and I just found out I am pregnant again so having an extra 2 kids to cart around all summer would be an inconvenience. The biggest thing is I want to be take my kids out to do stuff like movies, the beach, water park things like that and I won't be able to afford to do as much if I also have to pay for my niece and nephew.

She wants my to watch them Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5:30 PM.  I am thinking about telling her that I will do it for $120 a week if she will buy them both season passes for the water park (they are on special $150 for 2). She hasn't even talked about a price and like I said, I think she is wanting me to do it for free. Do you think the price I am asking is reasonable?  This would include feeding them while they are with me breakfast and lunch and all activities except the water park passes which she will pay for.

$60 a week per kid including food is an amazing discounted price for childcare. She would be a fool to say no.

No way would I do it for free.

OMG more than reasonable, I think it'sgenerous of you.  Shame on her if she thinks you should do it for free.  Let her try to find better care for them for less!
