Presley

Husband and I are getting a little ahead of ourselves with picking baby names already. We're not even pregnant yet but can't wait until we are! I just had my mirena removed earlier this month and we've been trying, so we'll see soon. Him and I both love this name, just wondering how people see it.

(edit)

I had never heard of this for a childs first name until I googled it. My husband was the one who thought of it because his grandpa was a big Elvis fan and my husband was very close to his gpa and wanted a name that would remind him of him. IF we have a girl (IF we get pregnant), we will name her Presley Lynn and she will be the girliest of girls!

I have a friend named Elvis, (no lie) and his wife and him decided to name their child Presley regardless of gender. They had a boy. I personally see the name either way.

Its not super manly or anything but it way more boy to me then girl. I cant see it being a girls name.

And me and my husband had names picked out like 4 years ago, we werent even trying yet. lol. And the name we picked out for a girl has completely changed. We are pregnant again with a girl this time. Totally different name.

I think it is very masculine but Americans like to put boy names on girls anyway.

I see it used more for girls so I think girl when I hear it I think girl, but I wouldn't say it's feminine either.

It's cute! We are more for traditional names. Family names if you will. But I do love it. For a boy or a girl. I think more for a boy :)

When I hear it I think of it as a feminine name.  I like the name.

Presley sounds gender neutral to me. I'd bet more girls have this name than boys nowadays. We're also looking at baby names already and something end in -let or -lee is cute to me.

I consider it masculine eventhough it is the name of one of dd's best girl friends.
