If my cat should be allowed out when we are out if town. I have my daughters friend and her mom coming over twice a day to feed and water the pets and play with them. The dogs will stay out back for the week (they have dog houses and the garage will be open for them) the cat usually comes and goes as he pleases since he's been able to go outside he's pretty much stopped using the litter box we still have it it just sits unused. I thought about telling my pet sitter to let him out in the morning then back in when they come in the evening but then he's stuck all day outside with no food :( if he's left inside for the week he might get a little peeved though. What would you do? Leaving food out isn't an option because if its out front the neighborhood cats will eat it and if its out back the dogs will even if its on a table. It shouldn't rain while we are gone so I'm not worried about that he would just take over a dog house anyway.
