What would you....

If you were writing a book or a journal about yourself so that you could leave it behind for your children, what would you put in it? Memories of when you were a kid? Favorite songs & movies? Favorite quotes? Anything goes! Need some ideas. I have started a journal to fill up for if anything happens to me before my daughter gets a chance to really know who I am, she will be able to read the journal I wrote and know me, or just for when she's older, something that she can hang on to and cherish.

So, what would you be sure to include in your journal/book?

Thanks in advance ladies!

I would do one section on learning to cook with my grandmother and include a bunch of her recipes.

I would tell stories about sharing a bed with my sister and how awful it seemed at the time. But once I became an adult how special she is to me.

My hopes for the future, My past (minus the gory details of course) and maybe a post telling my kids how much I love them and my hopes for their lives inthe future.

I started the same thing a few months ago, I tell her things i wish i knew as a 18+ year old. I tell her things about her now that she dosnt know about herself.

I tell her everything i went through

I tell her about when i first met her when she was 10 years old

I write about how her bio mom is not a bad woman, but a woman who has lost her way.

all that jazz

She gets the book in 5 years at age 18
